Šimuni is a small fishing and tourist village situated in the south-west of the island of Pag, halfway between Novalja, 11 km away, and the town of Pag, 12 km, and at the foot of the highest peak the island (St. Vitus, 348 m above sea level).
Šimuni stretches along 3 bays: in the northern boy is located ACI Nautical Marina Šimuni is open all year round and one of the safest harbors in the entire Adriatic. The central bay is belongs to fishing boats, but also serves as a market for freshly caught fish, while in the southern bay there is a pebble beach.
Outside the village, set in a pine forest, is a auto camp of the same name - Šimuni - probably the most beautiful campsite on the island and one of the most beautiful in the Adriatic. Just as the marina, it is open for guests all year round. Here you will find the sports facilities and restaurants. The camp is known for the miles long beach it is located next to.
The green vegetation and that pine trees that abound in Šimuni on every corner make this place an oasis in the rocky panorama of Pag - making it ideal for a healthy and quiet family holiday, while the Zrće beach is not far away for those who are rather looking for fun (10 minutes by car).
